Our Healer Makes Bitter Things Sweet — 5 Comments

  1. I definitely relate on many levels. The waters test and draw forth what seems hidden underneath, out of view. It is His mercy to bring it up so that it can be purified and result in sparkling, pure water to share with others. It is amazing to see the benefits of suffering, either with others, and/or in your own journey. And to experientially KNOW that our suffering Christ identifies with us in those hard, lonely and hidden places.

Thanks for your thoughts. Praying He will continue to bring insights on this leg of your journey, and draw you closer to Will and to Him.
    You’re a blessing!!

  2. Patty, thanks for your honesty as you walk this valley of darkness, pain and uncertainty. When you cannot ‘see’ Him, may your ‘hear’ the tapping of His rod and staff on the ‘rocky’walls of these circumstances that seem so restrictive! May you know He is near and be comforted even though you cannot ‘see’ Him! Love You!

    • Thank you, Elaine, for your prayer. I know it’s because of so many prayers that God is bringing us through this journey with hope and trust.
